Very pleased with my dog's training. The owner, James stopped by our home and after spending some time with our dog, suggested a comprehensive training program tailored to the needs of the dog.
After my wife and I discussed this, we quickly arrived to the decision to follow James' suggestion.
On the day the training was to start my wife and toured the training site and was very impressed. It was very clean and well maintained.
Throughout the training process, James sent videos showing the progress he was making. These same videos can be seen on you tube ( registered trade mark).
At the conclusion of the training James returned the dog and explained the process in a way that it was easily understandable and easy to follow.
James' methods are the result of studying other trainers and taking the best from each one- changing them to fit his style and the result is a very successful program that again, is tailored to the individual needs of the dog to be trained.
We would not hesitate to use James again and I encourage dog owners looking for training to give James a call or inquire via his website.
After considering multiple trainers, we ultimately decided on James because of his balanced approach to dog training. Just offering treats and rewards wasn’t working but we also didn’t want to go to the other extreme. It turns out that was just what our 1 year old, very precocious Berndoodle needed. After just a week with James we were amazed at how much progress she had made. James also is a great teacher and couldn’t have been more patient or thorough during our lessons. He makes sure you really understand the commands and all of the accompanying body language. We can now actually enjoy our walks with her and don’t have to worry that she will run into traffic 😳 or refuse to comply. It’s made for a happier, safer and less stressful home for us all! My girl officially completed training with Midas Touch K academy. Thank you James for all your hard work. This young man is AMAZING! I was so afraid of allowing her to board and train. I thought she would return to me a different pup in that her spirit might be broken. I could not have been more wrong. She is the same sweet, loving and spirited pooch. We have clear expectations, boundaries and trust. Best decision I have made concerning her care. It will only get better!! We do what we know to care for our babies and hopefully end up finding out we need professional help. My best to you and your beautiful pup!

Its never to late. James from Midas Touch K9 Academy trained my girl. Best decision I ever made. Flexible, knowledgeable, patient and very reasonably priced. Pricing was key for me as I was in a transition with jobs. I got much better results than with a prior training experience that was WAY more money.
I second Midas Touch K9 Academy, I did board and train and am so happy with the results! That was one of my main issues, controlling him when company came over, he is so much better now! Still a fun pup he just knows his boundaries.

A million times better. Just sent your name to our friends.She actually was with us all evening outside cleaning out the garage without a chain on. We played ball with her. No problems at all. This morning we had a very early morning so we took her out with the chain and she was great. It's amazing.
